As a woman over 40 who's tried endless amounts of workouts and fad diets over the past 20 years, I know what's it's like to feel overwhelmed and confused when it comes to health and fitness.
We want the effects of working out - strength, stamina, weight loss, increased mobility, decreased pain - but just don't find what we need in the gym. I also know what it's like to hear about so many fad diets with conflicting information that it feels confusing and overwhelming.
I believe you can meet your goals and get the results you want without spending hours in the gym or severely restricting your food intake. Instead, accomplishing these goals through fun fitness that you actually look forward to and simple nutrition strategies that fit into your daily life.
I believe this because I've done it.
It's so important to me that we are moving our bodies in ways that feel good, bring us the goals we want AND are FUN so you actually look forward to it. If this sounds like crazy talk, we need to connect, I can show you a more satisfying way to workout :)
I believe that our workouts and nutrition plans should support our lives. That our health and fitness strategies should WORK FOR US, to lead the lives that we want with ease, FUN and happiness within our days. Our fitness goals need to align with how we want our lives to feel: healthy, strong and empowered!
I love exchanging ideas and experiences with people while empowering them to discover who they are, what makes them truly happy; to provide information and support for people on how health and fitness can actually be fun while helping to fulfil life's desires and goals.
And what makes me truly happy? Family time outdoors; fun with friends, hiking, kayaking, doing fun fitness classes and eating good food; travelling and experiencing a variety of cultures and language; AND learning what creates happiness in others and seeing that happiness glow.
