Music, Movement and Mindfulness.

Movement and music are the external things driving the internal changes.  All workouts we do are fueled by music: music guides, motivates and inspires. You'll always have music at the core of your workout when you join an M-Powered Fitness class.

Mindfulness ("the practice of maintaining a nonjudgmental state of heightened or complete awareness of one's thoughts, emotions, or experiences on a moment-to-moment basis.") is the internal driving the external forward. It is personal and our individual understanding of it transforms over time. When we are mindful and accepting of who we are and how we are currently showing up in our health and fitness journey the experience is one of ease, endurance and trust.


In person on Vancouver Island (Victoria-Nanaimo) and virtually worldwide. Check out the FITNESS page for class options, locations and virtual schedule.


  1. Every live class whether it's online or in person starts at a specific time and when you sign up I await your arrival. Keeping a schedule is key to success.
  2. When you sign up for a challenge or a program with M-Powered Health and Fitness you become a part of an interactive group that motivate and empower each other.
  3. Working with me 1:1 means we meet each week to talk about the wins and challenges of the week past and make plans for the week ahead.
  4. Knowing your "why" makes all the difference when it comes to accountability and commitment. As your coach I help bring you back to this why. Remembering your reason for the goals you've chosen drives you forward and helps keep you accountable.  


You have to be as fit as you are right now! Strong30, our 30 minute high intensity interval training class, is done using body weight only, has 3 options for challenge levels and is completely modifiable for injury and individual needs. Over time your strength and endurance increase as you challenge yourself to build more and more.


Yes, you can't out-exercise a bad diet. Including a nutrition plan doesn't have to be complicated but if you want to lose weight and feel strong then it needs to be included. This can be as simple as doing one of our monthly challenges and learning basic nutrition info, to signing up for health and fitness mentorship, or anywhere in between. Heck, there's even enough info in the NUTRITION tab to help out.
